I remember when I was young, I loved going to flea markets. They seemed so huge, the vendors were all so friendly, and the food was always out of this world! It was a real treat to spend a Sunday sifting through all of the goods at these local markets, and I think I’ll have to revisit them soon. If you’re as much of a fan as I am, you might also be interested in some of our state’s coolest antique stores. While I can’t possibly list all of the best flea markets in Delaware, this short list is a fantastic starting point for getting out and exploring the many wares, treasures, and one-of-a-kind items (and their stories!) that local Delawareans have to showcase.
New Castle Farmers Market, 110 N Dupont Hwy, New Castle, DE 19720, USA
I love visiting the New Castle Farmer's Market on their flea market days! Don't let the phrase "farmers market" fool you - there is so much to see inside and out, and you're guaranteed to meet the most interesting vendors selling some unique crafts and goods. You'll find everything from tasty food to vintage treasures hiding right in plain sight. This might be the biggest flea market in Delaware, so you'll definitely check it out.
