Should I pay Zen Master or not? ›

Now as a strategist / gamer, I pay him if you can because you are hoping there is some point or benefit as a ending result. As it turns out, nothing. Doesn't matter if you pay him or not, result is the same, end is the same. Their is no consequence good or bad to spending the cash.

He doesn't ask for any money. The man simply states that you can pay any amount you see fit, including nothing. Your actual in-game choices are 'nothing' or a specific amount the game has chosen. The amount you pay (or don't pay) doesn't matter; the quest plays out the same either way.

Agreeing to crucify Joshua is necessary to receive the larger reward at the end.
