Thanksgiving in a Box

Sponsorship Level – $100
Please join us in crafting a memorable holiday experience for our clients by engaging as a Table Sponsor. Each box provides for 4 clients. Table sponsors will be supplied with a box to fill with festive Thanksgiving items including table decorations and place setting among others. Items provided will be placed at each clients Thanksgiving Banquet table to provide a full and festive holiday experience.

Group Box Pick Up: Nov. 15th, 3:00pm – 6:00pm

*NOTE* If you are unable to pick up your box at this time, you may pick up your boxany weekday from Nov 15th to Nov. 19th between the hours of 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

What Goes In The Box?

Our intent is for our clients to feel part of your holiday table and that they are having a shared experience with you. To that end, we strongly encourage you to make the decorative items you choose to include fun, festive and personal. Please include the following items in your box:

      • 1 Thanksgiving centerpiece (required)
      • Additional Thanksgiving decorative items (optional)​​​​​​​
      • 4 festive placemats (required; please only include placemats, dining utensils, plates, etc. are not necessary). These can be very simple and handmade. A great opportunity with kids to color!
      • We will include 8 "encouragement cards" in your box for you to fill out and return to be placed on the table for our clients to find at the meal. Please feel free to fill these cards with notes of encouragement, prayers, special Bible verses, etc.!​​​​​​​
      • We will also include blank recipe cards for you to fill out and return with your favorite holiday recipes. The recipes submitted will be complied into a cookbook that will be given to our clients moving into new housing.

Important Note
For health and safety reasons, we will not be able to return any of the items you donate in your box. Please keep this in mind as you assemble the contents of your box.

Join us on Thanksgiving Day as part of the meal service team! Help prepare and serve a delicious Thanksgiving meal for our clients.

  • Shift times can be viewed by clicking “sign up” below
  • This opportunity is open tovolunteers of all ages, with volunteers under the age of 18 required to have an adult present.

Christmas Wish Store

Through the Christmas Wish Store our parents are able to “shop” for gifts for their kids, have them wrapped and—the best part—it enables the parents to give special gifts to their kids.

Gift Guidelines

We want our kids to feel special and we want our parents to be able to provide fun and memorable gifts to their children.

  • Donated gifts should be suitable for children age birth to 18
  • Gifts should be new and unwrapped
  • Please refrain from donating the following: messy arts and craft(paints, sand, slime, etc.); roller blades/skates; bicycles, scooters, skateboards; toy guns of any sort including Nerf guns
